You’ll oversee full-cycle payroll, ensure compliance, and support clients with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and review payroll files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness.

  • Handle payroll tax returns, 401(k) contributions, health insurance deductions, and ACA reporting.

  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and employee self-service tools, including Checkr for background checks.

  • Perform pay entry and oversee payroll accuracy through MPay.

  • Import and reconcile timeclock files, ensuring all categories and boxes are correctly mapped.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

  • Provide excellent client communication and support, responding promptly to payroll-related questions.

  • Collaborate with leadership to streamline processes and identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of payroll experience, ideally within multi-client or multi-state environments.

  • Strong knowledge of ACA compliance, payroll taxes, and benefits administration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Experience with MPay or similar payroll software.

  • Familiarity with Checkr and timeclock import processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and accountability in all aspects of work.

  • Comfortable working in a mature, deadline-driven environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary

  • Paid time off and company holidays.

  • Supportive, relationship-driven work environment.

  • Direct access to leadership and opportunities for professional growth.

If you’re a seasoned payroll professional who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys helping clients, and values a people-first culture, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that treats every client — and every employee — like family.
