- LBD (Learning and Behavior Disorders) Special Education Teachers (4 openings)
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement) or a Master's degree in Special Education
- Requirements:
- MSD (Moderate and Severe Disorders) Special Education Teacher (2 openings)
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement) or a Master's degree in Special Education

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- As a Special Education Teacher in Shelbyville, KY, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with Kentucky state standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Assess student progress through various assignments and tests.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and individualized student support.
- Adapt and create instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs.
- Dedicate time beyond classroom hours for planning, meetings, and professional growth.
***Compensation: starting at $43k (higher pay is dependent on skillset and years of experience)
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
