Human Resources Manager – Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing

We're seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across multiple U.S. facilities. This role plays a critical part in developing and executing HR strategies that attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a collaborative and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities

Champion a "One Team" approach by promoting collaboration across departments and locations.

Align HR processes, policies, and practices between U.S. facilities to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Develop, implement, and manage HR policies in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., EEO, FMLA, FLSA).

Design programs to address employee relations, DEI initiatives, training, career development, and workplace compliance.

Provide strategic input on long-term workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.

Lead compensation and benefits strategies to ensure competitive positioning in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors.

Drive talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives to fill critical skills gaps and build leadership pipelines.

Oversee HR operations including budgeting, compliance documentation, risk mitigation, and vendor partnerships.

Support performance management, employee engagement, succession planning, and internal communications.

Travel occasionally to facilities and vendor/training locations (up to 20%).
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Deep understanding of HRIS systems, reporting tools, and data analytics.

Expert-level knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices.

Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead complex projects, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly oversees HR team members.

Responsible for staffing decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, development planning, and terminations.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
