Sproutlings is a one-of-a-kind pediatric day care and preschool offering both traditional early childhood education and Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) services for medically fragile children.

Duties

What You’ll Do:

As a Teaching Assistant at Sproutlings, you’ll support the lead teacher and classroom by:

●Assisting with daily lessons and structured play activities

●Working one-on-one or with small groups of children

●Preparing lesson materials and educational tools

●Ensuring the classroom is clean, safe, and stimulating

●Supervising children at all times and ensuring a secure environment

●Providing positive guidance and implementing behavior policies

●Supporting hygiene, nap times, and nutritious meals/snacks

●Participating in songs, stories, and sensory play

●Following all emergency procedures and safety policies

●Contributing to a developmentally appropriate and inclusive classroom

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

●Experience as a Childcare Assistant or Classroom/Teaching Aide

●A passion for working with children of all abilities

●Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills

●Ability to work independently and collaboratively

●A high level of patience, empathy, and enthusiasm

●Willingness to learn and follow all policies, including state licensing regulations

●Successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
