Location: Golden Valley, MN
Salary Range: $63,000 - $68,000+ (commensurate with experience)
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to person for benefits at Koch. Your work will keep our processes running smoothly, our records clean, and our employees informed and supported.
Some of your core responsibilities will include:
- Own daily benefit administration for health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
- Respond to employee questions with clear, timely answers
- Process new-hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations in the HRIS
- Audit elections and fix errors after they turn into problems
- Lead open-enrollment communications and wellness campaigns
- Manage COBRA, weekly HSA and FSA files, medical support orders, and Evidence of Insurability
- Reconcile monthly invoices and resolve billing issues fast
- Support compliance filings and reports
- Provide first-line help for leave programs and back up the Leave Specialist
- Jump in on HR hotline calls, mailings, scanning, and special projects
What You’ll Bring
- Post-secondary education in HR or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 2+ years in a benefits department handling self-funded medical plans
- Experience working with nationwide employee groups is a plus
- Experience with Leaves is a plus
- Strong HRIS skills and love for clean data
- Sharp written and verbal communication
- Extreme attention to detail and respect for confidentiality
- Customer-service mindset and solid time-management skills

About the Role
The salary grade for this position ranges from $59,350.20 - $83,046.80 per annum. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications, the targeted pay range for this role is $63,000.00 - $68,000+ per annum and commensurate with experience.
