Responsibilities

Under general supervision this position is responsible for a variety of routine, clerical duties in support of office operations. The major functions of this position will include coordinating courier activities, handling incoming/outgoing mail, maintaining inventories of office supplies.

Essential Duties:

  • Staff, operate and maintain the regional mailroom.
  • Coordinate with regional courier systems, including but not limited to Vital Delivery Service, Life Couriers, and UPS.
  • Monitor and/or track all deliveries throughout the region to ensure prompt receipt of all.
  • Monitor and replenish postage meter and postal account funding.
  • Pickup mail from associated PO Boxes, sort, and deliver to various local locations.
  • Perform other office support duties as assigned.

Ancillary Duties:

As an integral member of the Deposit Operations Department this positions is responsible for providing assistance whenever necessary to ensure that the department and the bank meet their goals.


Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirements:

  • A minimum high school diploma or GED
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Skills:

Strong organizational, interpersonal and clerical skills; basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications; ability to operate office machines (e.g. photocopier, fax machine, postage meter). Must be able to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Must have a clean driving record.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years experience in a related position normally preferred.
