Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist to support a K-12 school environment serving students with Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD). This position is based in the Dover, NH area, specifically within the regional school district located near Kingston, NH.
Position details:
- Schedule: 20 hours per week, spread across 3 days
- Caseload: Approximately 12 high school students with EBD
- Contract Duration: Current school year
Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and behavioral interventions, collaborating with educators and families, and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student success.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school students, particularly those with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to K-12 student needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
