Job Summary:
The Dietitian is responsible for the inspection of senior center kitchens, meeting with our food provider, and submitting forms to the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect once a quarter the kitchen of the Elderly Nutrition Program vendor and complete the necessary forms of the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs.
- Meet once a quarter with the ENP food vendor and their dietician to prepare the meals for that quarter.
- Inspect once a year, the kitchen in the 10 meals sites in Jefferson Parish.
- Prepare nutrition flyers every quarter to meet the requirements of nutrition education. • To present information at sites on an as needed basis.
Qualifications:
- License to practice as a Dietitian in the State of Louisiana
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Prior experience preferred
