Physical Therapist (PT) – $70–$75/hour | Full-Time & Part-Time Contracts | Morristown, NJ
Position Overview
A leading healthcare organization in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week full-time contract assignment. This opportunity will support patients throughout the Morris County region, providing physical therapy services in a home health setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations and be comfortable delivering care independently in the community. Candidates with acute care and home health experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Schedules
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, no weekend requirements, 13-week contract
- Part-time: 3 days per week available
Pay
- $70–$75/hour
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, function, and overall quality of life
- Provide physical therapy services in patients' homes throughout the Morris County region
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapist (PT) License required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- 0–4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
