We’re hiring a dependable, outgoing, and driven photographer to join our growing real estate media team in the Ames area.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, and taking ownership of their work. No prior photography experience is required. We provide paid training and equipment. You bring professionalism, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Travel locally to residential properties for scheduled photo appointments
- Capture interior and exterior photos following our simple shot list
- Represent our company professionally with agents and homeowners
- Upload photo files after each shoot, no editing required
- Learn video and drone services as you grow in the role
Schedule & Availability
- Approximately 15 hours per week
- Morning availability is strongly preferred
- Schedule will vary week to week based on client demand
- Most shoots occur on weekdays during standard business hours (9am-5pm)

- Available approximately 15 hours per week, with morning availability
- Must live in or near Ames, Ankeny, or Des Moines, IA
No prior photography experience required. Video experience is a plus, but not necessary. We provide full training.
Compensation Structure
- Standard photoshoots start at $25 per unit

- Once drone certified, pay increases to $30 per unit
- Video work and additional services vary based on project scope
- Mileage reimbursement provided at $0.70 per mile
