About the Role
We are seeking a driven and versatile Account Manager to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines key responsibilities in Client Success, Technical Customer Support, and Strategic Business Development. You will be the bridge between our clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless support and satisfaction while also actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
As a key player in a leading pump manufacturing company, you’ll manage and grow strategic accounts, troubleshoot service requests, coordinate with engineering, and pursue new business across target industries such as oil & gas, wastewater, food & beverage, chemical processing, and more.

Key Responsibilities
Client Success & Technical Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound customer service requests, providing product assistance, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Sales to coordinate remote diagnostics or on-site support for complex service needs.
- Support pump installation and post-installation health by proactively reaching out to key accounts and ensuring system performance.
- Coordinate internally to resolve warranty issues, replacement part requests, and technical documentation needs.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience and build trust across the lifecycle of the account.
Account Management & Retention
- Own and manage a portfolio of key strategic accounts, ensuring strong client relationships, consistent communication, and repeat business.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity in the company’s CRM system to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.
- Track customer satisfaction, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure client retention and long-term success.
- Support internal teams with customer feedback and service insights to help improve products and processes.
Sales Outreach & Growth
- Identify and develop relationships with potential clients through targeted outreach and cold calling within strategic industries.
- Partner closely with the Sales team to nurture strategic partnerships, support regional growth strategies, and generate new revenue streams.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position Discflo’s value proposition.
- Support proposal generation, quote follow-ups, and technical sales discussions as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in account management, technical sales, or client success—ideally in industrial equipment or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude or prior exposure to pump systems, rotating equipment, or fluid handling technologies is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple customer relationships while driving service and sales performance.
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, take initiative, and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in pump manufacturing, water/wastewater, oil & gas, food processing, or related heavy industries.
- Ability to read technical documentation, pump curves, and work with engineering teams on complex projects.
- Familiarity with industrial service or maintenance scheduling.
