Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for an LPN/LVN Nurse to provide skilled nursing services in a school setting located in Hopkins, MN. This role focuses on delivering quality healthcare support to students, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Conduct health assessments and screenings
- Manage and document student health records accurately
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop individualized healthcare plans
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed
- Promote health education and wellness programs within the school community
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Experience working in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
