Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex root cause analysis and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using advanced statistical methods (e.g., SPC, MSA, DoE) to optimize processes and product quality.
  • Develop and execute Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for new product introductions.
  • Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) adherence, including internal audits and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to implement Design for Quality (DFQ) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans to reduce defects, scrap, and rework.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers and production personnel on quality methodologies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in core quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.
  • Strong understanding and application of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for advanced data analysis and automation
  • Experience with AI/Machine Learning applications in quality or manufacturing processes
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Deep expertise in a highly regulated industry (e.g., Medical Device, Aerospace, Automotive) with relevant quality system standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, IATF 16949)
