Pay Rate: $40-$55/hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time
Days: Monday–Friday
Start Date: August 7, 2026 (one week prior to student start)
End Date: June 11, 2027
Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position with the school district in Manassas, VA. The selected candidate will support students in either an elementary setting (K–2) or a secondary setting (grades 6–12), depending on district assignment needs.
This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 55 students and providing direct therapy services in a collaborative school environment. This is an onsite position with limited exceptions for pre-approved virtual work in special circumstances (such as weather-related closures).
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to assigned students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students
- Attend after-school meetings when required and pre-approved (billable as applicable)
- Deliver services in either elementary or secondary school settings
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active state SLP license (required)
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to manage a moderate-to-high caseload in a school setting
- Flexibility to work across K–2 or secondary grade levels
