A small rehabilitation hospital with 40 beds is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support its inpatient pharmacy operations in Billings, MT. This contract position is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with inpatient experience to contribute to patient care in a focused rehab setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflow
- Collaborate and consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Apply pharmacokinetic principles and monitor patient medication therapy
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Montana pharmacy license
- Previous inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time availability on day shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a clinical environment
