TRAVELERS MUST BE GREATER THAN 50 MILES FROM THE FACILITY

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns.

Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs during labor.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Assist in emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.
-
Participate in continuous professional development and training.
-
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Support a culture of growth and learning within the team.

Evaluate and improve patient care processes and outcomes.

Engage in performance reviews and feedback sessions for personal growth.
Experience/Qualifications
-
Current RN license with specialization in labor and delivery.
-
Minimum 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Proficiency in fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.
-
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
-
Strong ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
-
Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
-
Understanding of hospital policies and safety protocols.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records.

Willingness to participate in performance reviews and feedback sessions.
