Position Summary:
The Material Mover I works independently under direct supervision to support the packaging of finished products in accordance with quality, operations, and time standards. The Material Mover is responsible for performing a variety of basic material handling activities including receiving and distributing material supplies, inventory, and quality necessary to meet company goals.
Essential Functions:

- Responsible for daily order fulfillment inventory transactions, including guiding inventory process management to and from the warehouse, managing unused materials, and coordinating storage of raw and finished products to ensure production schedules are met
- Maintain manufacturing lines inventory stock, ensuring products are free of defects and correct distribution of materials follow the production schedule
- May be responsible for end-production waste management
Other Responsibilities:
- Follow company-wide safety programs, 5S initiatives, and ISO procedures
- Provide consistent, high-quality output to ensure customer satisfaction and create value to exceed customer expectations
- Regular and reliable attendance is required to accomplish essential functions of the job
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent applicable education and work experience is required
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Solve problems using critical thinking and sound judgment
- Basic math skills are required
- Manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
- Actively participate in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to use and understand hand trucks, hoists, or other handling equipment
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work in a warehouse, manufacturing, cleanroom, and/or office environment that is subject to moderate to high levels of noise, specialized apparel, safety equipment, and moving mechanical parts. This position will have exposure to and use of materials listed in the company's Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employeeconducts primarily light work with constant periods of standing, walking, pushing, and pulling. This position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds rarely and includes pushing and pulling objects up to 10 pounds. Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers are required.
