SHIFT: NIGHTS 7PM-7AM\n\nSTART: ASAP\n\nREQUIRED:\n\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n\nRequires one of the following:\nSonography (S) by ARRT\nAbdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS\nObstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS\nPrefers one of the following, along with the required:\nVascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT\nBreast Sonography (BS) by ARRT\nBreast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS\nAdult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS\nRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS\nState Licensure is required if in New Mexico\nDMS by MIRTP NMED\nBLS required via AHA\nWeekend Requirement\nSunday's\nOn Call Requirement\nNo\nFloating Requirement / Locations\nIf needed to help fill other shifts due to time off or call ins.\nSummary:\n\n \n\nThe Ultrasound Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, and help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The Ultrasound Technologist must be able to handle the movement, set-up, and operation of medical ultrasound equipment. The technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Expectation to participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within their scope of licensure. The technologist will adhere to, and maintain, the expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Behavior and communication skills must align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.\n\n \n\nResponsibilities:\n\n \n\nMeets expectations of the applicable One*** Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.\nDemonstrates adherence to the Core Values of *** Health.\nMaintains consistency with Administrative and Departmental policies with appropriate behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability.\nPromotes staff growth, development, and employee engagement by collaborating with management, coworkers, and physicians to create an optimal work environment.\nPromotes exceptional physician satisfaction by providing meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring physicians.\nPerforms all duties in a manner that protects the confidentiality of patients and does not solicit or disclose any confidential information unless it is necessary in the performance of assigned job duties.\nAppropriately adapt assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served.\nEnsures compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards of care as deemed appropriate by State and Federal agencies, the hospital, and other regulatory entities.\nPerforms examinations/procedures as needed to assist in patient throughput within the scope of the Managers license(s), certification(s), and/or documented competencies.\nDemonstrates flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed or required.\nEnsures completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.\nAbility to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate any problem(s) or issue(s) to the PACS administrator or Designee if needed.\nTroubleshoots and reports any equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel; does appropriate follow-up.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n \n\nJob Requirements:\n\n \nEducation/Skills\nGraduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required\n\nExperience\n1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred\nBasic computer experience required\nLicenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n\nRequires one of the following within 1 year of hire:\nSonography (S) by ARRT\nAbdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS\nObstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS\nPrefers one of the following, along with the required:\nVascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT\nBreast Sonography (BS) by ARRT\nBreast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS\nAdult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS\nRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS\nState Licensure is required if in New Mexico\nDMS by MIRTP NMED\nBLS required\nIn accordance with the *** Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.\n\nWork Schedule:\n7PM - 7AM\nWork Type:\n13 week assignment\n\nJobDiva # 25-38754- M
