Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 4-12 across two campuses in Englewood, CO. This full-time position requires working 37.5 hours per week and involves both push-in and pull-out instructional models. The role is offered on a contract basis for the uping school year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to provide inclusive support through push-in services.
- Conduct pull-out sessions for targeted interventions and skill development.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students' goals and state requirements.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Engage with families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Active Special Education teaching license in Colorado.
- Experience supporting students in grades 4-12.
- Ability to effectively deliver both push-in and pull-out services.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.
