We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and computer networking, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As an Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various systems, including CCTV, networking equipment, and low voltage cabling. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to interpret schematics and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems and network installations.
• Perform fiber splicing and cabling tasks using Cat6/ Cat6A cables.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment related to telecommunications and networking.
• Provide field service support to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter to ensure proper connectivity and performance.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to NEC standards.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a service technician or installer in the telecommunications or IT field.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts including LAN setups.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage installations is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics for various installations.
