Pay starting from $69/hr up to $79/hr

Choice between W2 or 1099 opportunities

Qualifications:
\n\n
- \n\t
- Must hold a Colorado Special Services Provider (SSP) License or be eligible to obtain SSP licensure immediately.\n\t
- Must have prior school-based experience.\n\t
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.\n\t
- Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and counseling techniques.\n\t
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff.\n\t
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services.\n\t
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to the well-being of students.\n
\n\n
Key Responsibilities:

- \n\t
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.\n\t
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions.\n\t
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies to address students' needs and support their learning and well-being.\n\t
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.\n\t
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and crisis intervention strategies.\n\t
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to evaluate students for special education eligibility and contribute to the development of IEPs.\n\t
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate by implementing programs that focus on bullying prevention and social-emotional learning.\n\t
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.\n
