Job Title: Mig Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team, adept at handling the fabricating process from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding with approximately 70% of work on stainless steel and 30% on aluminum.
  • Execute welding tasks on materials ranging from 10 gauge up to 1/4 inch.
  • Conduct a bulk of single pass welding.
  • Read and interpret blueprint drawings and dimension styles.
  • Prepare weld surfaces as required.
  • Follow safe operating procedures for overhead cranes and forklifts.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in welding and MIG processes.
  • Ability to read gradations on tape measures including 1/8”, 1/16”, and 1/32”.
  • Skill in converting measurements between feet and inches.
  • Experience in weld, fabrication, TIG, flux core, and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in welding.
  • Experience in blueprint reading is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled fabrication shop. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 5:30 AM to 4 PM Monday through Thursday and 5:30 AM to 10 AM on Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hugo, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
