Medical Front Desk Receptionist, full time

We are a medical office in the Encinitas committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, positive setting. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing receptionist to work day shifts, some shifts opening at 7am, some closing at 5:30pm.

Responsibilities to include:

Patient Service:

-Greet patients and check them in/out

-Answer multi-line phones and route messages throughout office

- Schedule and confirm appointments

- Enter and manage patient data in EMR (EPIC), including entering payments Insurance and Payments:

- Handle insurance verification and authorization

- Work with biller to ensure accurate payment collection and posting

- Print end of day detailed report and reconcile payments

Candidates must:

- Have proven experience in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)

- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance and medical terminology

- Possess excellent customer service skills

- Be organized, accurate and reliable

- Be professional and courteous

- Be motivated and self-directed

- Be friendly and outgoing

- Have medical office experience.
