Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve in a school setting in Roanoke, VA. This position focuses on providing speech and language services to pediatric students, supporting their communication development within an educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school or pediatric healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP candidates
- SLPA certification and experience in school or healthcare services also considered
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Knowledge of school protocols and individualized education programs (IEPs)

- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to student care
