Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Bradenton, FL, within the School District of Manatee County. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026. The school is a Title 1 facility with a small caseload of approximately 40-50 students, including specialized programs such as an Autism unit, an Exceptional Student Education Pre-K (EPK), and two Integrated Pre-K classes that accommodate students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Qualifications:
- Masters level SLP license for Florida (CFY candidates welcome)
- Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload including autism and special education populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy to students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation
- Support inclusion of students with speech and language needs in the classroom setting
