Job Title: Clinical Program Director

Location: Must be willing to work between our 3 locations near Seattle at Bellevue, Green Lake, and University of Washington.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some evenings)
Compensation: $85,000-$105,000 exempt. Depending on experience and ability to supervise associate/resident level clinicians.

AMFM Healthcare is seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Program Director to lead our in-person Mission Connection Program around Seattle, Washington.

Mission Connection extends AMFM Healthcare’s compassion-driven, evidence-based clinical program. Our innovative hybrid model seamlessly blends in-person and telehealth services, ensuring you can access the care you need, wherever you are. We provide mental health support to those grappling with primary mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Mission Connection empowers these individuals to connect with their clinical team when, where, and how it’s most convenient for them.

About the Role

The Clinical Program Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical care and treatment of all clients within their program. This includes developing and implementing effective, engaging, and therapeutically sound programming aligned with payer and regulatory requirements. The role provides both formal and informal clinical supervision to program staff and serves as a key liaison between clinical services and departments such as Admissions, Business Development, Utilization Review, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and ensure program compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards.

  • Supervise and support Program Managers and clinical staff, promoting high-quality care and effective team collaboration.

  • Design and oversee evidence-based treatment programming tailored to adolescents with mental health needs.

  • Manage program performance, quality improvement, and adherence to licensing/accreditation standards.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support admissions, hiring, training, and conflict resolution.

  • Report program status, client progress, and staffing updates to the Executive Director on a regular basis.

  • Cultivate a therapeutic, person-centered, and culturally responsive treatment environment.

  • Participate in staff evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ensure the delivery of ongoing training and supervision.

  • Utilize data-driven insights and feedback to continuously enhance client care and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active clinical licensure (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, PsyD, or equivalent) for the state of Washington.

  • Experience in mental health treatment settings

  • Demonstrated managerial or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to provide board certified supervision in the state of Washington to associate/resident level clinicians is highly preferred.

  • Master’s-level licensed clinician with a strong background in treating co-occurring disorders

  • Familiarity with insurance billing practices, medical necessity criteria, and utilization review

  • Knowledge of DHCS licensing, TJC accreditation, and clinical documentation compliance

  • At least 2 years of relevant leadership experience

  • Experience in clinical supervision and team leadership

  • Proficient in Electronic Health Records (EHR), GSuite, and digital documentation tools

  • Strong communication, de-escalation, and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
