This full-time, contract-based opportunity provides the chance to work directly onsite with K-12 students in an itinerant capacity. You'll play a key role in supporting student success and collaborating with dedicated teams, while expanding your expertise across diverse learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold active credentials as a School Psychologist (PSYCH Credentials required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Skilled in performing comprehensive re-evaluations and assessments
- Familiarity with K-12 populations and diverse educational needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management abilities
- Comfortable adapting to an itinerant schedule and working across multiple sites
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for student interventions
- Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student development
- Serve as an advocate for student success, ensuring all services align with educational standards and best practices
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards
- Participate actively in school meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
