Job DescriptionLoan Officer – Commercial Real Estate Focus

We are hiring an experienced Loan Officer to structure, analyze, and manage commercial real estate loans across acquisitions, refinancing, and recapitalizations. You will own the financing workstream end to end, partner with banks and institutional lenders, and keep a growing portfolio on strong financial footing.
What you will do
Source, structure, and process CRE loans from origination through close
Build financing packages and supporting documentation for submissions
Negotiate terms with lenders and ensure policy and regulatory compliance
Underwrite credit using DSCR, LTV, NOI, rent rolls, and borrower financials
Lead due diligence and risk assessments, then monitor performance and covenants
Develop financial models for underwriting and investment decisions
Prepare credit memos, loan summaries, and periodic portfolio reports
Partner with property management and accounting to validate financial data
Maintain lender relationships and represent the company in meetings and presentations
Use Yardi and related systems to manage loan data, payments, and compliance tracking
What you bring
5 or more years in commercial lending, loan origination, or real estate credit analysis
Proven record structuring and closing CRE financings
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Yardi and Argus is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of underwriting standards and credit policy
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Highly organized, detail focused, and comfortable managing multiple transactions
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications are a plus
