Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Mammography Technologist that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Commerce Township, Michigan. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Description:
Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Commerce Township, Michigan
Schedule: 40 hours/Week
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (08:30–17:00)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range for Traveler: $2,000.00- $2,100.00 Weekly DOE
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic mammography examinations
- Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness
- Explain procedures and provide patient education and comfort
- Set up mammography equipment and acquire images according to protocols
- Review images for quality and make initial observations
- Document any deviations from established protocols
- Communicate findings and relevant data to the radiologist
Required Certification & Experience:
- · Minimum 2 years of Mammo Tech experience required.
- · BLS certification.
- ARRT-registered and certified in mammography (ARRT R)
