We are seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with concrete surfaces and is skilled in finishing, smoothing, and leveling concrete to meet project specifications and quality standards.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Place, pour, spread, and finish concrete for commercial and/or residential projects
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools (trowels, floats, screeds, edgers)
- Apply curing compounds, sealers, and surface treatments as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Set forms and ensure proper grade and alignment
- Monitor weather conditions to determine proper finishing techniques
- Repair and patch concrete surfaces as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times
- Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and other trades
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- OSHA certification is a plus but not required
