Company Description JōbSource of North America partners is looking for 2 Senior Accountants who align with their goals, experience, and needs.
Role Description The Senior Accountant will work on-site in Orange County, CA, in a full-time capacity, supporting the organization’s financial integrity and compliance. This role will oversee general ledger activities, prepare and review journal entries, and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliations, variance analysis, and the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Daily tasks include monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls. The role may also involve coordinating with external auditors, supporting tax and regulatory filings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that aid decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for management and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain internal controls, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is strongly preferred.
- Several years of progressively responsible accounting experience, ideally including prior Senior Accountant or similar role experience.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Orange County, CA, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
