Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to join an educational team in Green Bay, WI. This travel position involves supporting students with hearing impairments through specialized instruction, advocacy, and collaboration with educators and families to ensure an accessible and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Provide direct instruction and support using appropriate communication methods and assistive technologies
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and audiologists to adapt curriculum materials
  • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress regularly
  • Offer guidance and training to staff and families on hearing loss and related accommodations

Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
  • Experience working with K-12 students who have hearing impairments
  • Knowledge of audiology, assistive technology, and communication methods such as sign language preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel and relocate for the position

Location and Travel Details:This position is based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and involves travel to multiple schools within the region to provide services. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the area.
