Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine product requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and adjust settings as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and safety practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience operating press brake machinery or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
