Requirements:

  • Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
  • Previous school-based experience (required)
  • Strong assessment, oral and written communication, and collaboration skills
  • Expertise in crisis management, behavioral analysis, and functional assessments
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to support diverse student populations
  • Proficiency with current technologies and data systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling aligned with IEP mental health goals
  • Conduct student assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop IEPs
  • Respond to crisis situations, perform risk and threat assessments
  • Collaborate with school teams, families, and external agencies
  • Lead professional development and provide consultation on behavioral and academic concerns
  • Connect students and families to community resources and mental health supports
