Job Summary

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring. This role involves assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour shifts

• Day and Night shifts available

• Rotating schedule may include both day and night coverage

• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to MS/Tele patients in accordance with clinical standards.

• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate care.

• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Experience Requirements

• MS/Tele nursing experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

Certifications & Licensure

• Active New York RN license required (must be in hand)

• BLS certification required

• ACLS preferred (if applicable to unit standards)
