Schedule/Hours:

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Compact State or specific state eligibility required)
- Minimum of one year recent Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to Stepdown patients recovering from acute conditions or transitioning from critical care
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications and IV drips, and perform thorough patient assessments
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families regarding care plans and patient progress
- Document all care activities and assessments accurately in electronic medical records
- Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based protocols and safety standards
