Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support preschool-aged students across multiple locations in Madera, CA. This role is ideal for those who thrive in varied environments, including traveling between school sites and conducting home visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services as an itinerant SLPA across 5-6 preschool sites in the mornings.
  • Conduct afternoon home visits to support 7 homebound preschool students, collaborating closely with families to accommodate flexible scheduling.
  • Assist with evaluations and facilitate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents, educators, and team members to ensure consistent service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in school settings with preschool populations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued to effectively engage diverse families.
  • Comfortable managing the demands of homebound services.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to navigate itinerant responsibilities.

Location:

  • This position is based in Madera, CA, with travel between multiple preschool sites and home visit locations. Mileage reimbursement is provided for candidates agreeable to commuting requirements.
