- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (06:45 - 17:15)\n
- Hours per Week: 40\n
- On-Call: As assigned to meet department needs (weeknights or weekends)\n
- Float: May float to outpatient surgical center or sister facilities\n
- Patient Ratio: 1:1\n
- Charting: Epic (electronic health record experience preferred)\n

\n\nCore Qualifications (Key Search Keywords: OR RN, Travel Nurse, Perioperative Nurse)\n

- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience — perioperative nursing, surgical nurse, OR circulating nurse\n
- Valid Washington RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission\n
- CNOR certification preferred (perioperative certification)\n
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)\n
- Proficient circulating experience in pediatric, ENT, and plastic surgery cases\n
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred — trauma nursing experience a plus\n
- Epic electronic medical record experience required\n
- Ability to float between OR, outpatient surgical center, and sister facilities as needed\n
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years\n
\n\nResponsibilities (Surgical Nurse / OR RN Duties)\n
- \n
- Circulate and assist in a wide variety of surgical cases, including pediatrics, ENT, plastics, ortho, neuro, robotics, and transplant\n
- Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to perioperative infection control protocols\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response) for coordinated patient care\n
- Handle specimen labeling, universal protocol, time-outs, and documentation in Epic\n
- Administer blood products, manage transfusion documentation, and provide perioperative wound care\n
- Participate in on-call rotation and float assignments as scheduled\n
- Provide care across the lifespan: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics\n
