Job Summary:
Assembles electrical components for lighted signs to ensure correct and quality product is prepared for delivery to client by performing the following duties.
Supervisor Responsibilities: N/A
Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following.
- Gather all components from all departments and check work order for accuracy. (size, shape, color, spelling, etc.
- Reviews production drawings and deciphers assembly instructions.
- Configures the internal lighting components including LEDs, florescent lighting and power supplies.
- Installs all electrical components in the sign and makes all electrical connections.
- Reassembles the sign, covers, secures screws and fasteners for transportation to client location.
- Ensure sign UL complaint, drain holes, switch boots, electrical covers are in place, applies UL labels.
- Ensures work order is completed by due date. Maintains adherence to schedule and alerts management when a job is behind schedule.
- Maintains open and frequent communications with other production departments to ensure deadline is met.
- Tracks inventory for assembly department and alert management when supplies are needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma / GED required for this position
- Basic Electrical
- Fabrication
- Knowledge of UL standards
1 years experience or in a related field.
Required Licenses/certifications:
- Forklift
- UL
