Job Title: Junior Credit Analyst

Department: Corporate Syndication and FI

Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: SVP & Head of Corporate Syndication & FI

Summary/Objective: Analyzes credit data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to firms or individuals by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions:

1. Collect all information about syndicated loans and FI customers

2. Conduct and analyze annual review of existing borrowers and clients.

3. Independently review and recommend new credit proposals.

4. Compilation of spreadsheets on borrowers/guarantors’ financial statements and cash flow projections. 5. Spread and analyze personal and corporate financial statements.

6. Prepare credit analysis on companies and guarantors.

7. Analyze industry trends and recommend suggestions based on trend.

8. Review loan documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with law and Bank policy.

9. Studies economic trends in firm’s industry or branch of industry to predict probable success of new customers.

10. Evaluate results of investigations, prepares reports of findings, and suggests credit limitations to management.

11. Maintain RMA relationships and database of customer credit histories.

12. Close primary allocations of syndicated loans in the Clearing System

3. Thinking – Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

4. Ability to perform services in person from a Bank office or branch to, among other things, access the Bank’s computer systems and engage in an interactive environment with co-workers.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree is required from a four-year college or university in Business, Economics, Finance Accounting or relevant field. Master’s degree preferable.

Completed training in credit evaluation and financial statement analysis, preferably with one or two years experiences in the credit department of a financial institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
