Position Summary:
The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for leading and executing the organization’s growth strategy across new and existing markets. This senior leader will build strategic partnerships, expand referral networks, negotiate payer contracts, and drive revenue generation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, especially within post-acute and home-based care, and a track record of scaling service-based healthcare businesses.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

Develop and execute short- and long-term business development strategies aligned with corporate goals.

Identify, assess, and enter new geographic markets and service lines.

Lead M&A evaluations, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
Partnerships & Network Development

Establish relationships with ALFs, home health agencies, hospitals, and physician groups.

Drive referral partnerships and clinical collaboration opportunities.
Revenue & Sales Leadership

Lead the sales and business development teams, overseeing pipeline development and performance targets.

Analyze market trends to forecast revenue growth and inform decision-making.

Develop value propositions tailored to provider partners, payers, and patients.
Brand & Market Positioning

Collaborate with marketing to craft messaging that highlights clinical outcomes, cost savings, and patient satisfaction.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Operational Collaboration

Work cross-functionally with clinical and operations teams to ensure delivery models support growth objectives.

Recommend process improvements to support scalability and compliance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, or 2-4 years in progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in healthcare.

Strong background in post-acute care, mobile health, or chronic wound management preferred.

Proven success in payer contracting and provider network development.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive leadership skills.

Data-driven with experience using CRM tools and analytics to drive performance.
