Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Certified Non-Destruct Test Technician Level 2 is to test and inspect parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests and inspections on parts and assemblies to identify defects.
- Utilize both automated and manual methods, including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle techniques.
- Ensure compliance with inspection standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
Essential Skills
- Certification as a Level 2 to NAS 410 in one or more NDT Methods such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI).
- Current certifications are mandatory.
- Proficient in reading and understanding English.
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and follow precise instructions.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and ability to work around hazardous chemicals.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Openness to working varied tasks and adapting to changes.
Work Environment
The position requires working the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves working around hazardous chemicals and requires adherence to safety standards and protocols.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
