This opportunity is ideal for experienced paraprofessionals, behavior aides, or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in a specialized educational setting. The position involves working at an all-boys behavioral center in Derry, NH, providing 1:1 support to students with high behavioral needs. This role requires flexibility and commitment, primarily covering weekend and later weekday shifts, with schedules differing from traditional school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support and assistance to students with behavioral challenges.
- Maintain a consistent presence to ensure stability and care for the students, who remain at the center 24/7.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior intervention plans.
- Manage challenging behaviors in a patient and professional manner.
- Work scheduled shifts, including weekends and evenings, with a focus on reliability and attendance.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, behavior aide, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Ability to work effectively in a high-needs, structured environment.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts and evenings as schedule demands.
- Dependability and strong attendance are critical for maintaining staffing ratios.
- Strong communication and behavioral management skills.
Location:
- Derry, NH.
Work Schedule:
- Weekdays: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
- Weekends: Saturday, 8:00 AM 10:00 PM; Sunday shifts based on candidate availability.
