Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a K-12 school setting serving students with severe disabilities and autism. This contract position, located in Camden Wyoming, DE, runs through June 12, 2026, and supports a diverse age range of students, from 2 to 22 years old.
Key responsibilities include providing behavior specialist services such as de-escalation, crisis team participation, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and developing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs). The role requires close collaboration with school staff to establish and implement behavior goals within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), supporting data collection efforts, and addressing behavior-related student needs to ensure a positive learning environment.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Delaware licensure/certification as a BCBA (confirmation required)
- Experience working with students with severe disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs and designing effective BSPs
- Skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams
- Strong communication and data management skills
Location and Schedule:
- On-site position in Camden Wyoming, Delaware
- Full-time commitment, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Contract duration through June 12, 2026, with immediate start upon hiring
