About the Role

We’re hiring a dependable and friendly team member to join our growing real estate media company serving the Ames area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting new people, and learning hands-on creative skills.

No photography experience is required. We provide paid training, equipment, and a simple step-by-step process so you can succeed quickly.

If you’re reliable, professional, and enjoy working independently, this can be a fun and rewarding part-time role.

What You’ll Do

• Travel locally to residential properties for scheduled photo appointments

• Capture interior and exterior photos using a simple shot list

• Represent the company professionally with homeowners and agents

• Upload photos after each shoot (no editing required)

• Learn additional services such as drone and video over time

Most photographers complete 2-4 homes per day depending on the schedule.

Schedule

• Part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week

• Morning availability preferred

• Most shoots occur Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm

• Schedule varies based on booking demand

Pay & Perks

• Paid training provided

• Standard shoots average $25 per scheduled hour on site

• $30 per shoot once drone certified

• Video and specialty services pay higher rates

• Mileage reimbursement $0.70 per mile

• Company camera and equipment provided

Most photographers earn $25-$30 per hour equivalent once trained (approx. 4 weeks).
