Job DescriptionAccounts Receivable Coordinator | Kansas City, MO
LHH is partnering with a client that is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing the invoicing and collections process to ensure timely receipt of payments and accurate financial reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and building strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in communication and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute customer invoices and statements.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts.
- Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as needed.
- Prepare reports on receivables, collections, and cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with month-end closing and audit support.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Compensation: $50-65,000 annually
