As we embark on an exciting new chapter, we seek an experienced Audiologist to lead and contribute to our continued growth across Augusta, GA, and South Carolina, caring for our patients. Position Summary:
The Audiologist will conduct thorough assessments, provide counseling, fit and calibrate hearing aids, and maintain the quality of care our patients have come to expect. We also offer the potential for the Audiologist to administer telehealth services, enabling us to reach patients who may not be able to visit in person.Essential Functions:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments: Perform various hearing tests to assess patients' hearing abilities and degree of hearing loss.
- Diagnose and educate: Based on test results, diagnose hearing or balance disorders and communicate findings with patients, educating them about their condition and treatment options.
- Hearing aid fitting and calibration: Select, fit, and program hearing aids based on the patient’s unique hearing profile, optimizing sound quality for the best possible hearing experience.
- Maintenance and repair: Perform in-house hearing aid maintenance or repair services in collaboration with manufacturers to ensure ongoing patient satisfaction.
- Patient education and counseling: Counsel patients and their families on hearing conservation strategies, communication techniques, and improving their quality of life despite hearing or balance challenges.
- Lead the practice: Provide leadership and direction for the practice, ensuring high standards of care and building a strong patient-provider relationship.

- Educational Requirements: An Audiology Degree is preferred. M.A. or M.S. is desired.
- Licensure: If licensed in another state, candidates will be paid for Georgia licensure.
- Experience: Strong diagnostic and hearing aid software/product experience is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with diverse patients, colleagues, and vendor populations.
- Empathy: A genuine desire to help individuals with hearing impairment improve their quality of life.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Self-Starter: Curiosity, creativity, and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hearing aid manufacturers and technology is a plus.
