The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

Healthcare Customer Service Representative Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

Class Start Date: 10/17/2025 (Orientation on 10/17, Training begins 10/20)

Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM local time

After training, shifts will remain Monday – Friday, with exact schedules determined by business needs and candidate availability

Healthcare Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls from members regarding pharmacy benefit plans
-
Assist members with questions about prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions

Provide accurate information and solutions to simplify the member’s healthcare experience
-
Navigate multiple computer programs while handling calls in a calm, professional manner
-
Demonstrate empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills
Healthcare Customer Service Representative Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
-
At least 1 year of customer service experience (call center, retail, hospitality, military, etc.)

Computer proficiency with Windows-based applications
-
Ability to multitask across multiple screens/programs while assisting customers
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
-
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
-
Associate degree or equivalent work experience
-
6+ months of healthcare or pharmacy-related experience
-
Strong telephone etiquette and professionalism
-
Ability to remain calm under pressure and show empathy to customers
