Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 public school in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services for the upcoming school year. This is a contracted position designed to support students across all grade levels within the district.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and continuing education as required
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for school practice
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work independently
