What we are looking for:
The Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively with the outside sales force to proactively increase revenue, sales pipeline, and market share. In addition, they will work cross-functionally across all commercial activities to support the commercial team in delivering delightful and effective customer experiences.
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
What you will do:
- Prepares and delivers quotes for small order inquiries and sets up new customer accounts as needed.
- Partners with Customer Service to identify customer needs.
- Writes proposals and completes Requests for Quotes (RFQs) with the outside sales team and Product Development.
- Supports trade shows, conventions, and expositions.
- Manages leads through prospecting, qualification, fact finding, quoting, and closing steps.
- Identifies and qualifies targets according to the Go To Market Strategies.
- Manages the leads in Salesforce (SFDC) and follows up with Commercial Development Managers to identify high level targets and engagement.
- Works in collaboration with Commercial Operations to procure accurate customer forecasts and create dashboards and reports in SFDC for specific commercial metrics.
- Supports the Product Management team by collecting and documenting customer and competitive market intelligence.
- Identifies and reports on opportunities for improvements in the commercial sales process and metrics.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business or related fields with knowledge of Life Sciences industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with B2B client interactions preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of Programs (excel, Power Point, Word)
- Experience with Contract and Proposal writing.
- Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to clients, develop relationships and present creative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
